Meet Matcha & Raspberry Terrazzo Rok Blox – our second new flavour for 2022!
Once again, we’ve used our fine white Belgian couverture chocolate as the base of this dynamic and colourful new Rok Blox.
Next-level flavour of matcha
Ceremonial grade matcha tea powder is made from the youngest leaves of the Japanese green tea plant. Traditionally the dried leaves are ground into a fine powder and then whisked with hot water to create an elegant drink fit for an Emperor.
In chocolate, matcha’s flavour is smooth, sweet and earthy on the palette. Because matcha is high in antioxidants it is a natural detoxifier which can boost alertness and increase energy levels. Matcha’s pretty green colour conceals a plethora of wellness benefits to, including dental health, digestive support and joint support. Who would have thought?
Wellness properties of raspberries
But matcha on its own can be a little overwhelming to Western tastes, so we’ve enhanced these blox with raspberry terrazzo chips cast from freeze dried raspberry powder. Raspberries are rich in vitamins, minerals and antioxidants (thanks to their bright red skin).
Our raspberry chips break through our matcha backdrop with a fruity burst of tartness that is both refreshing and satisfying. With matcha and raspberry claiming weight loss benefits, we’d love to tell you these new blox are diet chocolate – but can’t back that claim up, given our inability to stop snacking on them!
What we can say is this is a new superfood flavour combination that we are really excited for you to try. Chocolate is a pick me up at the best of times, and Matcha & Raspberry Terrazzo is the best pick me up of all!
