Sweet licorice root next-level flavour
We have selected Black Adder tea for its fascinating flavour - a deliciously sweet tea made from licorice root gathered in the wilds of Kazakhstan – no joke! In large quantities, liquorice root can offer anti-inflammatory, antiallergenic, and anti-arthritic benefits.
Licorice root is also a diuretic and mild expectorant - soothing for anyone struggling with an irritating cough.
Acai Berry superfood
We’ve enhanced our Blackadder Blox with freeze-dried Acai Berry powder, a Brazilian superfood packed with wellness properties like antioxidants and plant sterols. Acai Berry is also known to boost brain function and support healthy bloody pressure (although you would need to eat 10 teaspoons of it to see a measurable difference.
Don’t like liquorice?
This isn’t like the dense black bittersweet treat popular in Nordic countries and commonly found smothered in compound milk chocolate. Because Black Adder tea is caffeine-free, the liquorice flavour of this Rok Blox is subtle and gentle. There are no bitter tannins to distract from this uniquely clean chocolate eating experience.
